Lecture: Lantern Slideshow of William L Finley
Corvallis Museum and Cultural Center

Bird Alliance of Oregon volunteers Ann Littlewood and Beth Parmenter will present The Early Photography of William and Irene Finley and Herman Bohlman, featuring original glass lantern slides from the early 1900s. Using vintage equipment, they will recreate a presentation style once common in 1910, showcasing the legacy of Oregon’s pioneering ornithologists and conservationists.

A reception will follow. Guests will have the opportunity to meet William Finley III, grandson of the Finleys, and his wife Carole, coauthors of For the Love of Nature. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

This free public lecture is made possible by Historical Society donors. Registration is required; please use the Ticket Link to reserve a seat, as space is limited.
